TecSil_Forest Products - Brazil has a wide genetic base with specific characteristics and diversity to guarantee higher survival rates and the Productive Sustainability of Forests plantations to serve Industrial Projects. Companies in Brazil and other Countries have shown a strategic interest in the acquisition and incorporation aiming the Genetic and Forestry Improvement Program and/or Commercial Plantations underway in them, with potential and competitive gains in the short, medium, and long terms.
Strategic Clonal Genetic Materials
TecSil main objective is to provide genetic materials of Eucalyptus and Corymbia tolerant and / or resistant to abiotic stress and phytopathogenic diseases; aiming sustainable productivity and technological characteristics of the wood to meet the demands of the production process for industrial uses.
Access to a clonal genetic base of Eucalyptus
and Corymbia (pure species and hybrid), via Explants (micropropagation) or seedlings ready for planting, composed of 82 Strategic Clonal Genetic Materials (SCGM`s), + 4 hybrid Pinus, + 15 clonal genetic materials of Tectona grandis, aiming the implantation of Clonal Tests to evaluate the Genotype X Environment Interaction, for future use in commercial plantations.
Strategic Forest Seeds
Availability of seeds of 180 Strategic Forest Seeds (SFS`s) pure species or hybrid of Corymbia (21 genotypes), Eucalyptus (92 genotypes), Pinus (18 genotypes), Tectona grandis (11 genotypes) and other 38 genotypes forest species of economic, landscape and/or food interest (excellent for solid wood production, noble wood production and other uses), of interest to the forestry business.
Availability of seeds of Strategic Genetic Materials Bamboo (20 genotypes).
Hybrid seeds obtained from intra or interspecific controlled pollination or natural pollination.
Strategic Hybrid Seeds of Corymbia and Eucalyptus obtained by Controlled Pollination (SHSCP`s) (112 genotypes).

Availability of 31 Strategic Genetic Materials Pollen (SGMP`s) pure species or hybrid of Corymbia and Eucalyptus spp.
Supply of Pollen from 82 SCGM`s, pure or hybrid species of Corymbia (21 genotypes), Eucalyptus (92 genotypes), Pinus (18 genotypes) - (SFS´s), totaling 244 different genetic materials, for Companies to carry out their own crossings in order to generate / obtain hybrid seeds of controlled pollination.
Seedlings Ready for Planting
Clonal seedlings (or via seeds) ready for planting, pure or hybrid forest species of different genera, such as: Eucalyptus, Corymbia, Pinus, Tectona, Bamboo among other species.
